"So Dr. Odd is a good guy now?" Terrell asked on the way back to Groon.
Roxy nodded. "You were right—people can change."
Wukong laughed. "I could have told you that! I used to be totally evil!"
"This mission sounds dangerous," Terrell said. "I think I'll call myself Danger Dude."
"Superhero, you!" Bippo said.
Roxy laughed. "Good name, Terrell!"
Back on Groon, Dr. Odd gave Terrell a map that showed the computer's location. Then he gave him a slip of paper with something written on it. "You must type in this code," Dr. Odd said.
Terrell nodded, and everybody clipped on communication devices.
Dr. Odd smiled. "Good luck!"
The group left Dr. Odd's moon and went down the tunnel. Everything was quiet.
"Where are the robots?" Cozlin whispered.
"I don't know," Roxy said. "But I'm sure they're around here somewhere."
They passed through the energy shield. Roxy took a deep breath. Without their powers, they had no way to fight the robots until Terrell typed in that code. Even Bippo shut down.
They soon reached a fork in the tunnel.
Terrell looked at the map. "I have to go this way."
Roxy bit her lip. "What if Terrell gets hurt?" she thought. "Maybe I should go with him."
Cozlin saw her hesitate. "It's a simple job, Roxy. Terrell can do it. We need to keep going to find Meltron—before it's too late."
Roxy nodded. "Just move quickly, Terrell. Type in the code and go back to Dr. Odd's moon."
He nodded back and hurried off.
Roxy, Cozlin, and Wukong went deeper into Groon. Roxy heard a footstep clang behind her. "A robot!"
She, Cozlin, and Wukong hid as the robot walked past.
"Whew!" Wukong said.
The group hurried farther down the tunnel. As they went deeper into the planet, the air grew hotter.
"We're near the planet's core," Cozlin said. "Meltron must be close."
Finally they reached a huge metal door. The letter M was stamped into it.
"This is it," Roxy thought. "Meltron is behind this door."
Wukong stepped up to the door.
"Don't try to open it yet," Cozlin said. "We don't have our powers."
Suddenly several robots appeared behind them.
Cozlin spun around. "We're trapped!"
"Crush them!" a robot shouted.
Terrell heard the clang of footsteps approaching. He squeezed himself into a crack in the metal wall. He kept perfectly still until the last robot was gone.
He sighed with relief and continued to the computer room. He looked at the glowing screen and began to type.
Wukong took his iron bar out of his ear. "I wish we had a way to fight these—" Suddenly the bar grew, hitting Cozlin.
"Ouch!" Cozlin said.
"Sorry!" Wukong said. "But we have our powers back!"
"Awake, me!" Bippo said.
Terrell's voice came through Roxy's communication device. "Did it work?"
"Yes, Terrell!" Roxy shouted. "You did it!"
"Yes!" Terrell said.
Wukong swung the bar. Crunch! Robots smashed into pieces. Spinning around, he struck more robots. Soon they all lay on the floor, lifeless. Sparks and smoke filled the tunnel.
Wukong laughed. "That was fun!"
Roxy grabbed the door and forced it open.
