Rocket Girl, Rocket Girl vs. Hector Collector 1: Prison Break-In
It was another boring day at Metro City Prison. Some villains were playing cards.
Mrs. Wiggles grinned. "Looks like I won again!"
The others nodded and tossed their cards in a pile.
"Who wants to play again?" Mrs. Wiggles asked.
"I do," said the Electric Elf leader. "Let's play—"
The villains heard a sound like giant footsteps. Then there was a loud explosion. Boom! When the dust cleared, the prisoners cheered. There was a big hole in the wall of the prison.
"Yee-hah!" Stinky Bart shouted. "It's a prison break!" He started to run out, but—zap!
Something turned him into a bronze statue!
A big claw reached through the hole and pulled the statue out.
The other villains backed away from the hole, but—zap! Zap! Zap! They turned into statues too. Then the claw pulled them out.

Mara, Jack, and Terrell stood in line outside the convention center. They were going to a comics convention. They all wore superhero costumes.
Roxy hurried up, holding some comic books.
Mara frowned. "Roxy, you were supposed to wear a Rocket Girl costume."
"Sorry!" Roxy said. "I didn't have time to make a costume. But look! I finished drawing our comics."
She held up the comics to show her friends. The pages were filled with panels of Rocket Girl in action.
"Cool!" Jack said. "They look great."
An older kid in line turned around. "Are those Rocket Girl comics?"
"Yep," Terrell said. "We took turns drawing them. I drew these pages, see?"
"We brought them to the convention to trade," Mara said. "Are you interested?"
The boy looked at the comics. "These are great. And Rocket Girl is an awesome superhero."
Terrell grinned at Roxy. "She's the greatest superhero ever!"
"Sorry, but . . ." The boy shook his head. "I can't break up my Aardvark Man collection to make a trade. It took me forever to get the complete set."
Jack sighed as the kid turned around. "We worked so hard on these. What if nobody wants to trade with us?"
"Don't worry," Roxy said. "We'll find someone who wants our comics."
Just then Roxy's watch beeped. "I'll, uh, see you guys inside. I might have an old superhero costume in my closet. I'll go check!"
Roxy slipped around the corner and opened her watch. "Mayor Bloom, what's wrong?"
"Rocket Girl, someone blew a hole in Metro City Prison!"
"Don't worry, Mayor. I'm on my way!"
