Rocket Girl, Rocket Girl vs. the Robot 4: Blue Sticky Goo
Dr. Odd's robot charged toward Roxy. She jumped out of the way. The robot poked a bubble floating nearby. Pop! A car fell out.
"Aah!" the driver cried as the car fell toward the street.
     "Ha-ha!" Dr. Odd laughed.
Zoom! Roxy shot toward the car and caught it.
     Then—pop, pop, pop!
"Help! Rocket Girl!" shouted several voices.
Roxy looked up. The robot was popping more bubbles, and more cars were falling.
"Now you'll be too busy to stop me!" Dr. Odd laughed.
Roxy flew fast, catching each car before it hit the street. Soon all the cars were safe on the ground. They were all covered with blue sticky goo from the bubbles.
Meanwhile the robot aimed its arm at Metro City Bank. Roxy flew fast and yanked its arm. She pointed it at the sky just as it sprayed more mist.
"You won't stop me, Rocket Girl!" Dr. Odd shouted.
Roxy flew down as Dr. Odd continued to yell. "I got rid of Police Headquarters! I got rid of Mayor Bloom! And now I will get rid of—Aah!"
With one kick Roxy knocked the robot over. It fell down with a loud crash.
Skrunch! Roxy stomped the robot with both feet. The metal bent and twisted. Sparks flew everywhere. One last puff of blue mist rose from the robot's arm. The small cloud hung in the air.
Roxy heard a hatch open. Dr. Odd crawled out and started to run.
"Hey, Dr. Odd!" Roxy yelled. "You forgot something!"
Roxy took a deep breath. She blew with all her power. Whoo-ooo-oosh! The cloud of blue mist raced after Dr. Odd until—bloop!
"Argh!" Dr. Odd yelled from inside the bubble.
Roxy ripped off the robot's hand and smiled.
"You wait here, Dr. Odd," she said. "I'm going to pop some bubbles."
Jack, Terrell, and Mara were sitting in the empty parking lot.
"I wish we had some customers," said Jack.
"I wonder what's taking Roxy so long," said Terrell.
     Mara heard something. "Look!"
A long line of cars pulled into the parking lot. They were all covered in blue sticky goo.
"We need our cars washed!" said one driver.
The kids got right to work.
     A moment later Roxy returned.
"Thanks for putting up more signs, Roxy!" said Jack.
"Yeah," said Terrell. "Where did you get the signs anyway?"
Roxy didn't answer. She just squeezed out a sponge and started washing cars.
