Wacky Ricky 12: School Ideas
Father: Ricky, school is starting again soon. Are you excited?
Ricky: I am excited and nervous.
Rachel: Why are you nervous, Ricky? School will be fun.
Ricky: How do you know? You haven't been to school yet!
Rachel: I went to preschool! It's always fun.
Ricky: Preschool is all playtime. You don't have to study.
Father: That's enough, you two. Ricky, what do you need for school? Let's make a list.
Ricky: I need sour candy, lots of sour candy. And a book bag and roller rocket shoes. Then I can move around quickly.
Father: Ricky, rocket shoes aren't real. And they aren't needed for school. I think you need pencils and notebooks.
Ricky: How will I get to school without rocket shoes?
Father: By walking, Ricky!
Rachel: I need scissors and glue, Dad.
Ricky: And a baby carriage to ride to school.
Father: That's enough, you guys. Great lists! We'll go shopping tomorrow.
Ricky: Rachel, what are you doing?
Rachel: I'm making a classroom. Let's play school, Ricky.
Ricky: I don't want to play school!
Rachel: Hello! I'm Mrs. Raccoon. Ricky, please take your seat.
Rachel: Welcome to your first day of school! Do you have any questions?
Ricky: No. No one has any questions.
Rachel: Good. Take out your books, please. Read pages 4 to 7. Write a ten-page story. Tell me why your sister is great.
