More angry dolls piled onto Roxy and Terrell.
Chuckles giggled. "Good-bye, Rocket Girl!"
"You won't get away!" Roxy shouted.
"Yes, I will," Chuckles said. "I got away from Chuck. He didn't make much money, so I left. Now I'll create a huge doll army and steal money, money, money!" Chuckles ran out of the store.

"Grr!" Roxy pushed away some of the dolls. Other dolls jumped onto her and Terrell.
"Rocket Girl, do something!" Terrell said.
"I have an idea," Roxy stared at the dolls on top of her. Orange beams radiated from her eyes. The dolls began to melt. Soon a puddle of melted plastic covered the floor.

Roxy saw Chuckles a few blocks away. He opened a taxi door, pulled out the driver, and jumped in. Tires spun as the taxi raced away.

The driver shook his fist. "Rotten doll!"
The taxi swerved onto the sidewalk. "Ahh!" A man jumped out of the way.
Bam! Chuckles drove through a fruit stand. "This is fun, fun, fun!"
Roxy stopped the taxi and grabbed Chuckles. The doll bit her.

"Chomp, chomp, chomp!" Chuckles ran away.
Whiz-hoo! Roxy's eye laser beams hit Chuckles' wooden leg. The leg started to smoke.

Chuckles gulped. "This is bad, bad, bad!"
A woman had a water bottle. Chuckles grabbed the bottle and poured the water on his leg. "Much better!" he said.
Roxy hurried over and grabbed Chuckles.

"Let me go!" The doll kicked as Roxy flipped him over.
She found the computer chip and ripped it out. Chuckles stopped moving. Roxy wiped her brow. "Whew!"

The valuable dolls weren't alive anymore. Roxy brought them back to the convention center.
The man in the green suit smiled. "You're my hero, Rocket Girl!"
Next Roxy brought Chuckles to Chuck.

"I took out the chip," Roxy said.
"Thanks, Rocket Girl," Chuck said. He pretended Chuckles was talking. "You're super, Rocket Girl!"
"Um," Roxy said, "your lips are moving."

At Downtown Toys, Roxy found her friends.
"You missed it, Roxy!" Jack said. "There was an evil doll!"
Terrell grinned. "But Rocket Girl stopped it."
"Wow." Roxy turned to Mara. "Did you pick a gift for Dina yet?"
"Nope," Mara said. "But I know what I'm not getting for her—a doll!"
