Rocket Girl, Rocket Girl vs. Dr. Dean McGreen 4: Airplane Trouble
Walden barked at the lawn mower. It was speeding straight toward him.
"Oh no!" Roxy thought. Whiz-hoo! She used her eye laser beams.
The lawn mower melted into the ground. Walden ran over to Roxy and licked her face.
"Dr. McGreen, your lawn mower almost hurt Walden," Roxy said. "You need to stop this!"
"It's too late, Rocket Girl," Dr. McGreen said. "I'm already so powerful, you'll never defeat me!"
Just then Roxy spotted the machine's power cable. "Aha!"
Whiz-hoo! Roxy's eye laser beams hit the power cable. Sloosh! The cable was sliced in two. Dr. McGreen's body stopped glowing.
"It's over," Roxy said. "You're going to jail!"
      Walden snarled at Dr. McGreen.
"Not yet," Dr. McGreen said. He grinned and pointed up. "I already stopped the engines on an airplane flying over us. So you can either catch me or catch that plane. But you can't do both!"
      "I'll be back!" Roxy said.
Roxy looked up. The airplane was falling from the sky. It was going to crash into a mountain!
Roxy shot under the plane and pushed it up. Then she held onto the plane and flew it down to a field.
The passengers cheered. "Hooray for Rocket Girl!"
"Whew! Now it's time to get Dr. McGreen!" Roxy said.
Inside the barn, Walden was barking loudly at Dr. McGreen.
"Good job, Walden!" Roxy said. Dr. McGreen was trapped behind some bales of hay.
"I surrender," Dr. McGreen said. "I'll fix the cars and go to jail. But first we have to find someone to take care of Walden. He needs lots of exercise."
Roxy's face lit up. "I know just the right person!"

Detective Smith looked surprised when Roxy landed beside him. "Cars are working again!" he said.
      "I know," Roxy said.
The detective gave Roxy a funny look. "What are you doing with a dog?"
"He's your dog now. His name is Walden," Roxy said. "He's very sweet. Make sure you take him for lots of walks!"

Roxy's friends were still working in the backyard.
"Hey, guys," Roxy said. "I found the measuring tape!"
"What took you so long?" Jack asked.
      Roxy shrugged. "Sorry, I . . ."
"That's okay," Terrell said. "We finished making the solar oven. But . . ." He looked up. "Now it's too cloudy to cook anything."
"Ugh!" Jack groaned. "I know! We can get a pizza delivered. I'll order."
"I have a better idea," Roxy said. "Let's walk to a pizza place. It's better for the environment—and us!"
