Feather was flying over the meadow.
It was a beautiful spring day.
The meadow was bright green.
She flew down to take a closer look.
Feather saw a big patch of clovers.
"Yuck! So many clovers!" she thought.
Suddenly she spotted two girls.
Feather hid in the grass and watched them.
One girl bent down and plucked something.
"Look, Maggie!" she said.
"I found a clover with four leaves!"
Feather gulped.
"Four-leaf clovers help people see fairies," she thought.
"Those girls are fairy hunters!"
Maggie shook her head.
"That's not a four-leaf clover, Emma.
It's just another three-leaf clover."
Emma sighed. "Oh well.
Maybe I'll find one soon."
Maggie nodded. "Let's go to your house.
It's time for the party!"
Feather stayed low until the girls left.
"I have to warn the other fairies!" she thought.
She zoomed back to the grove.
"Danger!" Feather cried. "Fairy hunters!"
"Where?" Bumble asked.
"I saw two of them in the meadow!" Feather said.
Sprite flew over.
"How do you know they're fairy hunters?" she asked.
"The girls were looking for four-leaf clovers," Feather said.
Sprite laughed. "Humans like clovers, Feather.
They think four-leaf clovers bring good luck."
She did a flip. "You worry too much!"
Then she zipped off.
Feather frowned. "Sprite doesn't know everything.
I'm sure those girls are fairy hunters.
Bumble, you believe me, right?"
"Um . . ." Bumble looked away. "Oh! Look!"
Wish smoke was drifting into Fairy Grove.
Hob read the wish aloud.
"Emma wants a four-leaf clover."
Feather gasped. "We can't grant that wish!"
"Why not?" Sprite asked.
"Emma was in the meadow!" Feather said.
"She's a dangerous fairy hunter!"
