Kid 1: Hey, we were playing with that ball!
Danny: Come on, come all! Gather round for a story that will amaze you!
Kid 2: What is he talking about?
Danny: This is the incredible tale of Danny and the Colorless Giants!
Brad: Uh-oh.
Danny: Once upon a time, there was an evil giant named Tristay.
Tina: Danny, be quiet!
Danny: A friendly giant named Hopian came to me. He asked me to save his world from the evil Tristay!
Tina: Danny, we made a promise not to talk about it.
Brad: People will laugh at us.
Danny: No, they won't. They'll think we are heroes.
Kids: We want a story. We want a story.
Danny: I magically traveled to a strange world. I survived dangerous waters, freezing cold, and a horrible monster.
Chuck: Do you believe this guy?
Dave: I think we should shut him up.
Danny: Then, using my powerful imagination . . .
Tina: Danny! Stop!
Chuck: Ha-ha! Even your girlfriend doesn't believe you.
Dave: You should stop making up stories.
Tina: Remember last time?
Chuck: We're not scared. It’s two against one.
Dave: Yeah. Your friends are too scared to fight us.
Danny: I’m not scared. I defeated the evil giant Tristay!
Dave: That's for telling lies!
Danny: I was not telling lies!
Dave: You never traveled to a magic world.
Chuck: And you didn't fight an evil giant.
Danny: I did! You can ask these two!
Dave: So? Is he telling the truth?
Chuck: Yes, is he telling the truth?
Danny: Fine! If you won’t tell them, I will. It's true. I defeated an evil giant with magic powers.
Kid 1: How?
Danny: My imagination was the key. At one point, we had to fight a giant dragonfly!
Kid 3: Wow.
Tina: Come on, Danny. Let's go.
Danny: No. They love this story. And I'm going to tell it.
Brad: We warned you.
Danny: The dragonfly attacked us near a blue stream. We hid underwater, holding our breath . . .
Chuck: Ha-ha! That's what you get for telling tales!
Dave: Yeah. You're not brave enough to save anybody!
Chuck: What do you want?
Brad: What you did wasn't nice.
Dave: So what? What can you do about it?
Brad: I’ll get even with you. Some day, somehow!
