Danny's Adventures, Danny and the Colorless Giants 37: Crayon Combat
All three: Ahhhhhh!
Brad: Everybody, jump out of the way! That was close!
Tina: Too close!
Bello: Look!
Danny: The evil dragonfly is stuck!
Brad: Quick! We have to think of a way to defeat it.
Tina: Yes. It won’t stay stuck forever.
Danny: Let’s see how it feels about color!
Tina: I don’t think it’s happy.
Brad: I think it’s trying to get loose.
Danny: I guess that was a bad idea.
Brad: It’s attacking again!
Danny: We’re in big trouble!
Tina: Run! Ow!
Danny: What’s the matter?
Tina: I fell on the crayons in my back pocket.
Danny: Crayons! That’s it!
Brad: What do you mean?
Danny: Just wait.
Tina: What are you making?
Danny: Something that will defeat that evil dragonfly.
Brad: Pea shooters?
Tina: Danny, I think you used normal clay.
Danny: I know. We can use them to shoot the crayons!
Tina: Great thinking, Danny!
Brad: Quick, Tina. Hand out the crayons.
Tina: Here.
Danny: You guys hide in the flowers with Bello.
Tina: Where are you going?
Danny: I’m going to run up ahead.
Brad: I get it. The dragonfly will chase you. As it flies by, we can fire at it. It’s attacking again!
Danny: Get ready . . . fire!
Brad: It’s working!
Danny: You’ve almost done it! Oh no, the fangs! Over here, over here! That was close. It’s my turn to return fire!
Brad: I’m glad that buzzing has stopped.
Tina: A wise man once said, "Silence is golden."
Danny: I know. Teachers tell me that all the time.
Brad: I don’t think anything can stop us now.
Bello: Look.
