Dr. Dolittle: Now this isn’t going to hurt at all, Morris. Oh, hello! I’m Dr. Dolittle. It’s nice to meet you.
Jip: I’m Jip, Dr. Dolittle’s dog. Did you know he can actually TALK to animals? He’s AMAZING!
Dr. Dolittle: Oh, no, not amazing at all. I learned the animal language from my friends.
Gub-Gub: Dr. Dolittle! Dr. Dolittle! The mice refuse to eat their rice! Oh! I made a rhyme! The mice refuse the rice! The mice refuse the rice!
Dr. Dolittle: This is Gub-Gub. He talks a lot, but he has a good heart. Don’t you, Gub-Gub?
Dab-Dab: Oh, Hello! I’m Dab-Dab. As you can see I’m a duck, but I can swim faster than most dolphins or fish!
Dr. Dolittle: Come in!
Too-Too: I checked on your money, Doctor. You are spending too much money on . . . Oh, hello!
Dr. Dolittle: Too-Too is the smartest of all my animal friends. He is great at math and has a very good ear.
Too-Too: Did you tell them about Polynesia and Chee-Chee?
Dab-Dab: Or how about the Pushmi-Pullyu?
Morris: The what? I have never heard of that!
Dr. Dolittle: Would you like to hear my story? About how I came to understand the animal language? About our journey to Africa? About how we escaped from pirates?
Gub-Gub: Yeah! Let’s get some popcorn and soda!
Dr. Dolittle: Well, I’m sorry, but I will have to begin the story next week. Today I must give Morris this shot.
Morris: OOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCHHHHHH!!!!
