Two guys were talking. They looked mean and tough.
"What should we do this weekend, Buster?" one guy asked.
Buster shrugged. "I don't know, Carl. Do you want to rob a bank?"
"No way," Carl said. "Rocket Girl will catch us."
Buster shook his head. "I don't like Rocket Girl. Bad guys like us can't do anything in Metro City. There must be a way to get rid of her."
Carl nodded. "I wish we knew who she was . . ."
"Ugh!" Mara said. "I still don't know how to do this math problem."
Roxy and her friends were studying for a math test.
"Let me see," Terrell said. "Maybe I can help you."
"This stuff is confusing," Roxy said. "How are you doing, Jack?"
"Huh?" Jack looked up from his phone.
Roxy rolled her eyes. "You're supposed to be studying, Jack!"
Jack put down his phone. "I know, I know!"
The friends worked quietly. Mara nodded as Terrell explained the math problem.
"Thanks, Terrell," Mara said. "I'm not very good at math—yet!"
"That's right," Terrell said. "You'll get better. It just takes practice."
Jack picked up his phone again. Suddenly he started laughing.
"What are you watching?" Roxy asked.
Jack showed her his phone. "Terrell made a Clocktime video!"
Roxy looked at the phone's cracked screen. She giggled. "Terrell! Is that the Rocket Girl Dance Challenge?"
"Yeah!" Terrell said. "I made it yesterday. It took me two days to learn the dance."
The friends watched the video. Terrell danced. At the end he yelled, "I'm Rocket Girl's Number One fan!"
Roxy gave him a funny look. Terrell grinned.
"I need to learn that dance." Mara got up and danced.
"Maybe Rocket Girl will make a video too," Jack said.
"She would never do that!" Roxy said.
Mara and Jack looked confused.
"How do you know that?" Jack asked.
Roxy gulped.
"Um, Jack, your phone is cracked," Terrell said quickly.
Jack shrugged. "I know. I dropped it."
"You should be more careful with it," Terrell said.
"Whew!" Roxy thought. "Terrell always knows when to help me!"
Just then she heard a beep. She thought it was her watch. But Terrell picked up his phone.
"I got an email from school," he said. "Oh, wow!"
"What is it?" Roxy asked.
"The Metro City Good Student Society contacted our school," Terrell said. "They want to give me an award!"
