"Fly, everyone!" Sprite cried. "Fast!"
She shot into the air.
But the other fairies were too slow.
Bruce tossed the pillowcase over them.
"Ha!" he cried. "Got you!"
"You can't get me!" Sprite yelled.
"Yes, I can!" Bruce chased her around the room.
Sprite zigzagged.
She darted high and dipped low.
She did flips and spins and then . . .
Sprite began to fly in a circle.
"Grr!" Bruce spun around, trying to catch her.
Sprite flew faster and faster.
Bruce spun faster and faster.
"Ahh!" Suddenly Bruce stopped.
"The room is spinning!"
Bruce was so dizzy, he dropped the pillowcase!
The three fairies flew out.
"Whew!" Bumble said. "I'm dizzy too!"
"Come on!" Sprite cried. "Let's go!"
The fairies brought the toy soldier to Blinx.
"What took you so long?" Blinx snapped.
He took the toy into a back room.
Soon Blinx was back.
"Return this soldier," he said.
"Then the boy's wish will appear."
Bumble gulped. "We have to go back to Bruce's house?"
"I hate this job!" Hob moaned.
Sprite took the soldier.
"We'll go first thing in the morning."
The next day the sun was shining.
Sprite flew to Joey's house with the soldier.
She put the toy down in front of the door.
Zap! The toy was its normal size again.
Sprite flew back to the other fairies.
"Look, Sprite!" Bumble cried.
A new bike sat near Joey's front door.
Feather shrugged. "It's army green, but Joey will love it."
When Joey opened the door, his eyes went wide.
"An army bike!" he cried. "Just what I wished for!"
"Aww." Hob brushed a tear from his eye.
"I love this job!"
Sprite rolled her eyes, but Bumble laughed.
"Me too!" he said.
