Hope's jaw dropped.
She stood frozen as the actor walked away.
Robot's lights flashed red with anger.
"Grr!" Robot thought. "That actor is so mean!
How could he do this to Hope?
The real MechaTron would never act like that."
Dad rushed over. "Hope, what happened?"
Hope sniffled and couldn't speak.
Dad led her to a quiet spot.
She slumped down against the wall.
Dad sat next to her and held her shoulder.
Robot looked at Hope's sad face.
Tears were rolling down her cheeks.
Robot felt sad too.
"How strange," Robot thought as his lights flashed blue.
"I don't care about being awesome right now.
All I want is for Hope to feel better."
Hope and Dad went to get a drink of water.
Suddenly Robot felt something wet on his face.
"Is that . . . a tear?" Robot thought.
The tear splashed onto the floor.
Then another one splashed beside it.
A small blue light twinkled in the same spot.
Robot couldn't believe his eyes.
It was the fairy!
"Hello, Robot," she said softly.
"Fairy!" Robot said. "You finally came.
Please, can you help Hope?"
The fairy smiled. "You're a good friend to Hope.
Because of that, I will help you."
"Huh? What do you mean?" Robot said.
"You'll see." The fairy waved her wand.
A trail of fairy dust sparkled on the floor.
It led to a man who was kneeling down.
Robot pointed to the man.
"How can he help Hope?" Robot asked.
He turned back to the fairy.
But—blink! She disappeared.
